Hi, is there anyway that I can ADD/MODIFY Active Directory User information using MS Access?

Any tips out there? THANKS! ! !

If your AD is a Windows 2003 system, you could possibly automate calling the DSADD/DSMOD commands from the command line, however that would mean that the Access database needs to be run on a computer logged on with permissions to add/delete/modify user logins (member of the Account Operators group in Windows as an absolute minimum).

If you talk to a SQL Server backend, you can then create a linked server to AD on one of your domain controllers, so the Access DB calls SQL Server, which calls AD. This is probably far more secure.

Personally, however, I'd not do this. Your network admin people would probably not allow this anyway.

I am one of the Administrator. I just want to make my job easier to update users information. How can I link SQL to my AD?

Thanks in advance man!
