Is it secure ? How do we know ?

Hi there

I've been fooling around with an ISA Installation for about 6 months now. I'm 'self' taught, having relied on this forum, isaserver.org, and a few books.

Now my question is how do I know that my firewall is secure ? How do you test your firewalls out there ?
I've done some port scans from the internet, but is it enough ?
