I am using Lotus Notes with my collegues who are also joined to the same replication points as myself. We have an electronic diary within these replication groups that is an excel spreadsheet dumped and works well. The only problem we do get is save conflicts if two or more of us are in the diary at once and saving changes. Is there anyway we can either :- install something that will currently show who is online either in notes or just the diary OR is there a way of locking everyone else out of the diary when we are changing it?

Any help would be greatfully received.

Cheers, Taff.

Hi and thanks for that but no, that's not what I'm after. What that does is warn the user that they are trying to edit a document that is already a save conflict. What I am after is a way to stop these happening or at least a way to warn others that someone else is in the diary if there is no way of locking others out whilst someone is in there.

Cheers, Taff.
