Is it possible to test a Teleworker system without the license?

Hello,

We are relocating our Teleworker VM to another data center.

For testing, our partner removed the license from the production system to the potential new system so we could test. Within the time frame that we had, the test didn't work, and the license had to be applied to the production system.

Is it possible to test a Teleworker system without the license? It would be great if we could.

Issue - Phones were getting the L2 download error. When I ran the basic diagnostic test on the TW, it tested successfully communicating with the ICP's. So, it looks to be a firewall issue.

Suggestions?

Go to diagnostic and download the teleworker tool.
You can test all the required ports with it.

We have a test arid that we use for this kind of stuff

i think you can possibly release the ARID from the production server without stopping it from working
it may have an issue during the daily sync or if the server was restarted but from memory it keeps working .

Guys,

Downloading the TW test tool helped.

BTW, the production was till live after removing the license. When the business partner was in the process of re-applying the license to the production system, I called him from the TW handset, and he was still applying the license.

If you remove the license from a running system, then i will remain active for a longer period, no problem.
It will eventually stop working after giving license violation warnings. But using this for a few days running on 2 servers would not be a problem.
