I am currently running from a laptop, with SiS 650 as my display adapter (64mb), Windows XP, P4 2.0ghz, 512 DDR. Lately, I been thinking about going dual since I have a spare monitor lying around. However, I did not realize that laptops are so hard to upgrade (hardware). I would buy a dual video card or whatever appropriate, but I don't think there is room for it in this laptop case.

I'm wondering if anyone knows any way to make it to I can have dual screen when I plug in another monitor to my laptop, instead of having my laptop monitor and this extra monitor display the same thing, or just toggle in between each other.

Any other solutions that will get me dual screen on this laptop for a small cost is also welcome.
Thanks!

Maybe I'm lying about this but too my recognition I think their is such think as a monitor spliter...it make one 15 pin vga cable to 2 -15 pin vga cables...I don't know if this helps...but thats all I could think of
