Hello all,
I have an IPO release 8 that is installed and working great. They are using Call Queueing, and they want to have System Status running on a computer in the call center area with a monitor on the wall so that the call takers can see how many calls are in que, and the 2 managers each want to have the System Staus program running on their computers in their office; this means 3 Sys Status programs running watching the same IPO.

This didn't work, the 3rd person to log in couldn't do so.

I had the idea to create a new user for each of the people wanting to use System Status at the same time. No joy. Only 2 could log on at once.

Does anyone else have an idea of how to get 3 computers to be able to use System Status at the same time? (I'm thinking of a Team Viewer presentation kind of solution, but would rather find a way to do it without Team Viewer).

Thanks in advance!
Chris

The help file in ssa says that only two connections to one control unit are allowed with only one per pc.

System status is for engineers.
You need a call center application, not SSA.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

SSA is an engineers diagnostic tool, it isn't a display to be used by user or in a call centre wallboard, that's what CCR,Xima etc is for :)

Thanks all. I just tried to set up Xima, which seems like a great tracking tool, the problem is that this "call center" isn't using true CCR or VM Pro, just the simple call queueing into a hunt group going to 3 phones when Do Not Disturb is not activated on those 3 sets.

Any programs that can track calls in that kind of que?

You can use Soft Console to show Queue size on more than one group, but that's rather a waste of a pricey licence and it needs to be assigned to a user and will show what that user does, also Xima can show queue and other live data without needing VM Pro or any Avaya licences come to that :)

Chronicall does not need CCR. It's an alternate to CCR, so you don't have to buy those licenses. Chronicall does not need VoiceMail Pro either. It accesses the switch directly. I think Chronicall would work for what you want. You may have some misconceptions about how it works.

Plus, turning on "Do Not Disturb" is not how hunt groups are supposed to work. Instead, you should have the user log into the hunt group when ready to take calls, and log out of the hunt group when not taking calls.

I just talked to Xima support, got the program installed, and it is AWESOME! Thanks to you guys for recommending it! I'm sold (and so is my customer)!
