is it possible to do a trace on a LS co Trunk?

I searched the archives and im having difficulty enabling caller id on my lab 3300 using loop start trunks.

class of service options set to 'yes"
ani/dnis/isdn number delivery trunk - yes
display ani/isdn calling number only - yes
display ani/dnis/isdn calling/called number - yes
display caller id on multicall/keylines - yes

CO TRUNK CIRCUIT DESCRIPTOR
class trunk - yes

it does the delay while waiting for incoming call waiting for caller id.


it just refuses to display call id. it displays the label for the trunk the call is coming in on.
caller id worked on the previous key system. I listen and hear the 'burst of data' etc.


Why does mitel hate me and fight me at every step of the way?

now it rings right away without the 2 or 3 ring delay, but still no caller id.

What trunk interface are you connecting the LS trunk to? Not all of them are CLASS enabled.

The embedded amphenol on the back of the 3300. im punched down on black/blue black/orange and black/green.

I don't believe those are CLASS-capable ports, but check your Tech Handbook just to be sure. I'm too lazy to look it up at the moment.

I had to ask! Have you verified there is caller ID on the Trunks?

its my personal desk phone and ive been getting caller id on it for the past year and half with the old norstel system with a caller id module. I hear the burst of static when I call in.

I have no idea wtf

Have you looked at the SMDR logs? If it shows up in SMDR and is not being displayed on the phone then it almost has to be a class of service issue on the instrument

Lessee..... do we need to dedicate any receivers on the 3300 in order for CLASS to work or is that only for ONS stations? Been so long I forget.

Are trunks set to immediate start
Signalling set to DTMF
clutching at straws here... (as you can probably tell)
