I'm thinking of possbily using diagonal text boxes for a layout I'm working on.

Is there any way that you can create diagonal guides in Quark 4??

Thanks in advance.

Oops, sorry guys, I just spotted another thread which asks a similar question. I wasn't titled as clearly as mine.

Still, nobody seems to know how to do this.

Any ideas?

I've never been able to do it, but I pretty much assumed it couldn't be done and didn't try very hard! Maybe there's an XTension or something?? Would be a nice thing to be able to...

If you have the ability to use layers, you could create a new layer and draw diagonal lines. Locking the layer will prevent any moving of the manually drawn guides.

Simply disable the visibility of the guide layer when printing.
