is it possible to burn cd images onto dvd-r

to burn cd images to dvd-r?
do i need to convert the cd image, if so how.

yes it is possible.. but not with the cue file.. but direct

I am pretty sure, one can do this. The DVD works on nearly the same principle as the CD. Only thing is that the DVD can write to both sides, and both formats work on the pits and valley principle.
There are also numerous utilities available to transform it to DVD file. I will get the address for you and lget back to you.
