Is it a good idea to use scene?

I'm a starter of Flash. I heard some people said, it is not good idea to use scene in the moive, especially I have many scenes. Instead, I'd better use moive clip.

Is the right?

Can anyone give me some suggestions? Thanks.

Yup movie clips are far better than scenes (I never use scenes) but I am sure people will disagree Regards

Thanks, David. If I only use moive clip in a big flash moive, the frame will be very long. Is it easy to edit?

Movie clip can be over 15000 frames long, yet can be laid down on a one frame main movie, and with a stop(); action on that one and only frame, on top of that! Regards,
