Is FoxPro 2.5 / MacIntosh worth investing my time to read/learn?

I have just purchased a mint package of FoxPro 2.5 for the MacIntosh but find it is no longer supported by Microsoft. Why? Is there something inherently wrong with it? Does anyone know of another application program comparable for the MacIntosh? I do not want to invest my time and energy into reading all the books on this only to find out it is flawed in some way. Is any one out there??
There is nothing wrong with the Mac Version 2.5 that you need to worry about. The worst error was in the database browse mode where if you are on the last field of the database and you hit the tab key it would not take you to the first field in the database.
The reason Microsoft does not support the 2.5 version is because they did not write it. That version was written before Microsoft purchased the program.
Is the program worth it?
Why is this forum here? Is there a forum for any other P.C. based database that was written over 10 years ago and is still the most popular database system in use.??
