is everything incompatable? Quark 6 --> Indesign 2.02

I'm trying to open my quark 6 documents in indesign 2.02. I continuously get an error which tells me that indesign does not support the file format or that there are plug ins missing.

I've read that indesign will only open quark 4&5 files, but still indesign will not open my quark files I have down saved to 5.

Is there a way to get my files to indesign for further editing?

Unfortunately, you're a little misinformed: InDesign can convert Quark files, but only from Quark 4 or earlier.
