All,

I have couple of general question.

1)Can we connect and work on a IS which is 7.5.2 from a desktop which is 7.5.1?

2)Is it possible to move the objects from a project which is on a server 7.5.2 to a project which is on a server 7.5.1 using object manager? The projects are related. The server with one project is upgraded while the other is not.

Any information on this is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

1) Dont think so (It would be a 'NO' had I worked on those two versions).

2) Yes, but when you move the project and try to open it in the newer version it will throw up a dialog box asking you to 'Update' the metadata to match the IS MSTR version in the destination. In normal cases I would recommend the update but if you have web customizations and other complex reports that are version dependant, I would proceed with caution.
