Is 8x24 software 30MVM05 DR5 Compatible with Flash Talk 2.1?

Installed a Flash Talk 2.1 and the 8x24 was unable to see it. Is there a software compatability issue that would cause 8x24 not to see the Flash Talk? It would also not see it in Maintanence under Port Status. The features were inactive as well. The software version on the 8x24 is 30MVM05 DR5. Unfortunitly the company that we recieved the VM from did not send any books with it. Thank you.

It looks like you have a DR-5.1 and any flash above 1.35 should work according to the chart.

Connect a laptop to the Flash using a DB9-DB25 straight thru cable and hyper-terminal. The settings are 1200,8,N,1
Power off the Flash and connect the laptop, and open a hyper-terminal session.Power up the Flash and you will be able to monitor the progress of the boot sequence as the Flash starts.
Before starting anything, ensure that the connections to the Flash are correct and the ports out of the 8x24 are good by plugging in a spare set to the port(s) used by the Flash.

Did you try F903 first to activate the voicemail feature codes?

There is a startalk already using the ports. The Startalk is working fine with it. When i disconnect the StrarTalk i hook up the Flash to the same ports and it doesnt see it. I will try hooking up a laptop to it to see if it fails during the setup.

It wont let me do any feature 9## codes. When i look for it in maintanence the phone system doesnt even see it.
