Hello all,

Has it been established what the last 2.1 revision is/will be? I have 2.1.27 and it will not allow me to define hunt groups across SCN lines. We'd like to have phones at different sites ring as one group, but so far no joy.

Does 3.0 support this feature?

Thanks

Create a short code that utilizes the VoIP trunk for hunt groups. It's that simple

There is a new release for 2.1 comming soon.

2.1.31 should show up soon. Also and specific SCN patch containing the 2.1.31 core show be in my hot hands next week.

On the remote side of the SCN(defined as the side making VoIP calls to reach PSTN, callers who are transfered or zero out of a vm box can receive no voice path. Tragic I say. The main side will have the trunking from the central office.

To reach hunt groups, look closer at the SCN doc. You will see that there are some steps that you must perform to create a SCN. In your case, create a short code that points to the VoIP trunk.

So if you have group 5000 at the main side and group 4000 at the remote side and your Voip trunk group is 100, create short code 5000-dial 5000-line group 100 on the remote system short code and create short code 4000-dial 4000-line group 100 on the main side.

The distributed network groups you try to setup are not supported in any IP Office software build.
There is a workaround for it.
Create "phantom" users and divert them to remote users with the "divert group calls" option set.
Put the "phantom users" in the group.
I do not know or the "idle" function of a group will work and if the group has to be monitored with CCC then you will have a lot of missed calls in your reports.

Forward hunt group calls only works for Hunt & rotory type groops, not Idle
