I recently bought a 2wire wireless pci card that I installed in my computer. The crad is working properly and the system recognizes it. The problem comes when I insert the PCMCIA card that came with it. The system assigns to it the 00 IRQ and of course crashes wiht the system timer. I tried to change the card to another slot, but always gets the oo IRQ. how can I change the iRQ? or how can I resolve this conflict?

Thanks

If you can see it in device mgr then you can try right clicking, go to properties and see if you can change the irq. Just a thought, not a guarantee.

I already tried this, it did not work... any other suggeriments? Do I need to configure the crad in any way? (It's the first time I use one of those.)

thanks for the star, hardly deserve it at this point, but sometimes i deserve one and dont get it, lol.

I would try your card mfgrs website and look at FAQ and contact their support as well as continue to look here for answers to help you.
Unfortunately, i cant think of anything else at the moment but there are people here who know more than I do.
