First time poster. I have a TDA100 and TVM50 set up for an insurance company. The agents have a VM mbx but they aren't FWD'd to their VM mbx. This is what I want to happen - Incoming DDI calls go to the agents phone then IRNA to their respective PA's. The PA's have 3-4 agents each so they FWD on B/NA to their own VM mbx and tell callers they have reached the PA for agent A,B,C.
I have set this up but it doesn't work as the inbound callers don't end up in the PA's VM mbx. The DDI call comes in it rings the agent phone for 15 seconds then IRNA to the PA's phone, rings that for 10 seconds then goes back to the agents VM mbx.
I have tried deleting agent VM mbx but caller ends up in VM service. I have tried FWDing instead of IRNA - same result.
It must be something easy ? Appreciate any help.

you may be able to get the pa's mailbox to capture agents calls by pointing the ddi @ and creating a icd group for each agent with a single member and making the pa's ext the busy and no answer overflow destination for that group .you would have to fwd busy/na to 500 and set the overflow timer accordingly.

Thanx cwc3. Will try that on monday. regards.

You will have to set up a group mailbox, as any call coming in to one extension/group and overflow to an extension that is busy/ no answer to mailbox will end up in the first extension/group mailbox.

You could have a mailbox set for each agent and have a message lamp on the pa phone for each. if you want it to ring at each agent first you would have to set up 3-5 groups and have an message lamp for each.

final solution is have the messages transfered from each agent to pa mailbox automatically, but the quickest time it is can be done is 10 Minutes after each message is left

Thanx obtsystems. The plot thickens, I had hoped this would be pretty straight forward. The Toshiba I replaced did this no problem.
So in effect we cant just send a DDI call to a destination(extn or group)then(IRNA or FWD)on to an extn that is set to FWD/BNA to voicemail and end up in that extns MBX ?
Could you explain this strategy again "if you want it to ring at each agent first you would have to set up 3-5 groups and have an message lamp for each."
Calls must ring the agent first then go to the PA/Pa's MBX.
Appreciate your help.

best way to do this is(if you have spare buttons on the Pa's phone) is set message waiting lamps for the agent's extension and if a message is left in the agents mailbox it will light on the Pa's phone, she can then press that button and deal with the messages. best thing about this is the PA will know what agent the message is Left for.

Other than that you can get the tvm 50 to move the messages from the agents extension to the Pa's mailbox. con:the quickest you can set the system to transfer from one mailbox to an other is 10 minutes

you could try this create icd group make pa the 1st member and agent as second member make pa ext delay ring (up to 6 rings) and then set overflow to 500 set overflow time accordingly

Ken would not calls wind up in pa's mailbox since it is the lowest ext in the group?

Thanks for your help guys. Will be trying your suggestions today. regards.

Shawn, no it won't, that will only work for a dummy ps using an svm. I tried it on my system and a group n/a to ext 201, and that fwd to voicemail ended up in group mailbox.

obtsystems and cwc3, thanks very much for your suggestions. In the end the client could live with the 10 minute auto mbx message transfer as it was the simplest thing to do.
regards.
