good day!

is there a way to reset the iptable? i remembered i typed in something using the iptable but i forgot what and i think it is the problem.

is there a way to reset the iptable?

will flush all rules.

man iptables reveals all.

IIRC, flushing doesn't change your chain's default policy. What does iptables -L tell you?

I use this script in order to flush the rules:

## FLUSH iptables rules
iptables -F
iptables -X
iptables -Z
iptables -t nat -F

BTW, what is your problem exactly? Thats a pretty long list, is this your org's router?

my problem:

i cant view the default apache page within the network but when i use a proxy, i can view the default apache page.

that is the result when i typed ni iptables -L

So I assume from this, your firewall/router & web server are one and the same box. Is your proxy loaded on this box too? Can you view other pages on your web server? There are quite a few logging rules in your firewall, what do your logs tell you when you connect?

yes my firewall/router and webserver are in the same suse box.

yes i can view other webages from the suse box and from other pc connected to it.

logs?apache log?
