Obviously the control network is not too good

I have the following CM alarms:
01A PKT-INT MAJOR

With these errors:
01A PKT-INT 257

I can ping all aspects of the system including the IPSI. I have had this system working but had to reload the core software and since that the IPSI has not responded.

I have checked all IP addressing, this seems to be a physical problem to me.

If I check IPSIversion I get "not available"

Can anyone help?

do a sta ip-service if it's out of service pull and re-insert the ipsi card should solve the problem....make sure your ipsi is set to 100Mb and the switch is also on a 100Mb not auto-negot...

thanks, we've already tried that to no avail

we even replaced the IPSI last night, problem still the same

all ports are nailed to 100MB/full

Can you do a pingall -a from the linux (s8710) servers
and let me know what you get.
