IPSI ip address change question ?

Hi all

we have customer runing CM R5.2.1 system, with G650 cabinet and server, they use two IP subnet:
**Subnet 1: 172.16.xx.xx /16 for IP Phones, CLANs cards and Server.
**Subnet 2: 192.168.xx.xx /24 for IPSI cards.

My question : is it possible to change IP address of IPSI card to be on the same IP subnet as server, CLANs and IPphones (172.16.xx.xx)? and what's the impact of this change ??

You can set the IP address range to anything you want as long as it does not conflict. But normal you want your IPSI to be ether on there own network switch or a VLAN, with no connection to your corporate network.
The ISPI is the back end command link for all the G650 cabinets and the servers. With a 192 address are you sure that the IPSI are not own there own private network switch that is not connected to your network?
And why do you want to make this change?

For CM5 put your IPSI's in separate VLan's. So if you have 2 control networks you would have 3 VLAN's. Control network A, control network B, and the corporate VLan. For CM6, but all your IPSI in the corporate VLan.

I have upgraded the PABX from cm3 to cm6.2 recently. Could anyone tell me what did it mean "chgsta" in history log?
