Hi all,

Can someone share how to configure voice prompt on busy extensions? in the small system there is already a voice prompt on like SL1000/SL2100
("The number you dial is busy to call back dial 850") It is a standard in most hospitality businesses. but in NEAX IPS2000 if you dial a busy extension there is no voice prompt and it's automatically you can hear a busy tone.

General Description
This feature allows station users to record messages on Digital Announcement Trunk (DAT) cards. When a station
user dials the feature access code for this feature, the user receives the corresponding message from the
system.
Also Announcement Service can be used to provide a voice message in the following cases;
• An incoming C.O. line/Tie line call has been transferred and encounters a busy or no answer condition
• An incoming DID line/Tie line call has been terminated to a station and encounters a busy or no answer
condition
• Internal Recorded Message in place of Music on Hold
• Night Announcement
 
Actually yes but I need a program which is an internal call message only. For example when a guest local number 101 dials a busy extension for example reception local 802 there is a voice prompt that announces how to call back or access camp on so that if he/she dials that access code automatically when reception local 802 is available both of them rings at the sme time.
 
This feature only works with CO trunks. You might try using a voicemail box for the message.
 
Do we need a license for this voicemail box to activate? Ive been using CP24-D CPU..thank you
