I'm trying to login to an IPS using MatWorx ver 13 over IP. I have my laptop set to get it's IP address form the DHCP server. It is plugged into the same switch as the PABX, and I can ping the PABX. I got the IP address using 0A00 00 , but when I use the wizard it asks me for the port number. Which when I interrogate the PABX it says 60030. But it just doesn't work. Does anyone have any ideas, what command do I use to get the port number required?

Please help as this is doing my head in......

60030 is the OAI port number used for ACD. The MAT port used depends on what software version you have. Older software used ports like 1020 to 1034. Newer software used 60000 to 60050 incremented by 10. Try 60000, 60010, etc. You can try different ports in your set up, or use the serial MAT cable. It defaults to 9600 bd.

The default port # is 60030

Check Command 0B00>98>?

0 is port 1024
1 is port 1025
2 is port 1039
3 is port 60030

Remember, if these were changed, a system reset MUST be done.

0B00>98 is the OAI port used for CCWX.
This is from the IPS MAtworx manual, NOTE: Set the port number of the PBX to 60000. The older software used a port number in the 10xx range.

I found an old MatWorX Studio manual. It lists the port as 1039, but at some point newer software versions used port 60000.

I always use 60000 for CPU access
make sure another matworx client isnt already connected ,seem to remember its only 1 at a time

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
