I am installing a IPO 500V2 8.0(18) and the customer has a copper T-1 and I cannot get this to work.
When I move over the T-1 It syncs up green at both ends, but when trying to make a call I get waiting for a line.
Under line options I have it set to T-1, AMI, loop start, incoming and outgoing are set to wink.
I have made several different changes to get this to work. So far nothing is working.
any help, please.

Give the carrier a call to help you troubleshoot the link they will be able to see the traffic from their side to find out what is going on, sometimes they will give you information on their network settings to help you setup the IP Office, you can also try SSA.

APSS - SME
ACIS - SME

I have tried that, the local carrier can't even tell me how many digits they are sending. The local tech was told that they are sending 1 digit, I asked how that is supposed to work.
I have been able to get that their end is AMI, SF (which is not an option on IPO) I set it for D4, amd that the circuit is loop start and wink, wink.
Any other ideas?

E&M tie, AMI/D4 or B8ZS/ESF wink/wink with 4 incoming DNIS is a pretty common setting that you can also try for older ckt.

Do your settings match the providors? Do you have the line set to in service? Does your 9 short code point to that line group? What does system status app show for that trunk?

Thanks very much guys, one of the biggest problems was the carrier and getting information out of them. Since they saw what kind of problems that I was having the decided to get a PRI installed.
I just could not get all of the information from the carrier.

Thanks again,
