Are there any good low cost solutions to use SMDR feature? I have a client with 6 phones and they would like to track the calls but cost is a factor. I have never set up SMDR. Looks pretty easy but collector software seams to be a hurdle at least in this case. Any ideas?

The very best, free solution I have ever used is Avaya Call. A plugin for SplunkBase.

I installed SplunkBase on an Apache Webserver I own. Installed and configured the plugin, and pointed the SMDR at it.

Gives great reports with fancy graphics for quick look, or you can pull detailed call records.
