? we have a cust in SDiego and IPoffice going into Mexico scn just for exten to exten dial
stand alone embedded VMail ,IT is asking if provider in mexico change there ip address on their router
will affect calls .my thoughts are it shouldn't as long as IP addr doesn't change for IP 500 or am I wrong 1st one going to mexico

Is this a trick question?
The IP address is the most important thing keeping those two IPO's connected, changing one of them will bring the SCN line down like a sack of stones.

I'm going to assume you have a firewall/VPN router in place, since you are referring to an IP address of the IPO.
Your VPN connect to the public IP's. When up, the IPO's will "see" each other through the tunnel.

But if you want a trip to Mexico, you should say it's ok [smile]
If not, make sure you can remotely configure the VPN.
Change the settings just before they renew the public IP.

Kind regards

Gunnar
