Hi guys our IPOCC server is pre-installed but when I open the Trace Display, I do not see anything on it. The Avaya Backbone Engineer told me to reinstall all the IPOCC application but after reinstallation some components did not reinstall. Please help.

I had issues trying to install IPOCC 9.1, the database component would fail installation.
Ended up using WMware on the server and 9.1 OVA instead.

Anybody else had the issue with Database failing to install in wizard. We are having that issue but cant go the VMWare route. Every time we try installing the IPOCC it fails on database installation.

We are installing the IPOCC on a Server 2012 R2 64Bit
During wizard install the database is failing.

Only the database is failing all others installing fine.

We unfortunately cant go the VMWare route the client is a microsoft only house.

I got pissed and tried this out a bit on a W2016 server.

I got the IPOCC 9.1 install to work if I installed Windows Server with default region settings (US), disabled DEP and ran the IPOCC install (after installing the vcredists).

What I have found is that when DB fails to install it creates a txt file showing the following error:

EXCEPTION caught:
..\..\src\Database.cpp(233): Throw in function unsigned int __cdecl InstallDeferred(unsigned long)
Dynamic exception type: class boost::exception_detail::clone_impl<struct ERR_MSI>
std::exception::what: Unknown exception
[struct ErrorMessage * __ptr64] = ERROR: date/time field value out of range: "1-1-1970"
LINE 9: and p.deleted='1-1-1970'
^
HINT: Perhaps you need a different "datestyle" setting.

[struct boost::errinfo_api_function_ * __ptr64] = void __cdecl Jobs::Execute::eek:perator ()(struct Jobs::Query &)
[struct boost::errinfo_at_line_ * __ptr64] = 79
[struct boost::errinfo_file_name_ * __ptr64] = ..\..\src\Jobs.cpp

But I have tried every date format, e.g. US, UK and SA

That's the same fault I got before, did you reinstall Windows on the server.

LOL 5 times so far.

But what I did find now is that there is a patch released in October with a new Database install file Contact_Center_database_X64.msi then the database re-installs correctly.

But still doesnt seem to run. The very irritating thing is that they say to use the patch after the new installation.

Think I gonna start installing a live one next week, lets see how that goes.

IPOCC 9.1.4 installs fine but they removed that from the website without a word just after I downloaded it so don't know what's wrong with it.

Ok so for anyone interested or has same issue I managed to get it to run.

Janni78 thanks for help by the way. :)

I went into the install folder of software and replaced all the various install components with the new patch components. We then ran the wizard installation and everything installed correctly. Also the watchdog wizard does not start automatically as described in manual. We went to the watchdog folder and ran it manually and then it it ran correctly.

Hope this helps in case anyone ever has same issue.
