Hi all,

Has anyone succeeded to make ipocc chat working with non-english letters? I think for ipocc non-supported languages.

Thanks in advance,
Slobodan.

It works with UTF-8, but what language are we talking about?

I'm talking about Serbian language and these are special added letters: š, đ, č, ć and ž.

Can you enter those character in the IPOCC client?

Think if it's the XMPP server that's the issue.

I use one-x portal for XMPP. When agent use:
Thick UI
Customer typing: š,đ,č,ć,ž
Agent see: š,ð,è,æ,ž
Agent can type š and ž but when try to type đ,č,ć, it is sent d,c,c.

Thin UI (webUI)
Customer typing: š,đ,č,ć,ž
Agent see: š,ð,è,æ,ž
Agent type: š,đ,č,ć,ž but it is sent: a, (after this letter customer see that "Agent is typing" all the time and agent can't type any more - big problem),č-nothing send,,ž-customer also see that "Agent is typing" all the time and agent can't type any more.

I also know that it is not work with Hungarian language.

I think it is a bug at IPOCC but can't open a ticket at Avaya because Serbian language isn't support.
