Just an FYI - I have never maintained an IPOCC server. I have no previous experience with the IPOCC.

Anyways, the customer changed the IPO Server Administrator password and I need to change it as well in the IPOCC.

I have accessed the IPOCC We Management and can see the dashboard. I have logged in to Avaya Support and found:

2. IP Office -> Security Setting -> System -> Unsecured Interfaces -> system password > Reset the System password:

IPOCC-> Administration -> Configuration -> PBX -> PBX Configuration-> Password-> Put in what the system password was reset to so the passwords are synchronized between both systems.

Am I in the right spot? At the correct web management area?

You can change the password by logging in as the Administrator in CCUI and choose change password, otherwise login as server and change the password for the Administrator user.

I was on the wrong server. I RDP'd in to the IPOCC server and found the utility and am in process of changing it. But it appears that all my security settings are screwed up and need to reset them all, but unfortunately I was locked out and need to wait the obligatory 30 minutes.

I will update.

Thanks, Janni78!

the system password in the IP Office you detailed is the what the TAPI connector in IP Office uses so don't change this or you will break the IPOCC.

If the customer has changed the IPO Admin Password this will be in security settings / Service Users - this is only used by the IPOCC if they are using auto sync.

To update the Auto Sync password you need to log on to the UI client, click on "PBX" tab then "PBXServer" then "Edit", "Conf .Access" then edit the user/password in there.

Beware though there is a lot in there that will just kill the IPOCC if you don't know what you are doing!

janni78 - you mean to say that there is another user like "server" in ipocc? I always use Administrator for configuring and I know a guy from support used "service" to configure ipocc..

It was a typo, the account name is "service" =)

You're supposed to use the service account when you administer the system since that doesn't use a license.
The Administrator account uses a Supervisor license.

OMG.. I always used the Administrator and I thought why would Avaya create an admin account that will use 1 Supervisor licence ..HaHa . I almost convinced the guy from sales to order n+1 licences for supervisor because Administrator uses one by default.. I am still laughing :))

Anyway, can you tell me the default password for service account ? I can't find it in the documentation.

Found that I needed the "system" password (same password used in Monitor) and I was using the IPO Administrator password.

The default password for the service account is "CCadmin123"
