IPO8 One-X Mobile Android making calls 2

Hello all,

I recently installed the one-x server for the IPO8, I wanted to use the one-x mobile client on my android device. I've managed to connect to the server from my cellphone using wifi, but when I try to place a call from the one-x mobile app, using the "Mobile Phone" as my phone number, the app says its dialing but the call never connects. When I call using my office extension as the phone number the call does connect. I'm using SIP trunks as my line to dial out, but my ICR is using analog trunks. My one-x mobile server has a private address, but I think this shouldn't be a problem since the IPO does the actual dialing. Is my reasoning faulty? Has anyone got this to work?

Saw there were a few other people with this issue, but haven't seen an actual fix out there.

Check the SIP tab in the Manager on both users, are they the same?

I have got it working in no time, obviously you must be doing something wrong.
Did you setup mobility on the user?
- user license
- mobility number
- mobility call control
- other mobility features
- one-x portal xms settings URL

As usual there is a lot what can go wrong, monitor and work step by step:
check all settings
use monitor to see waht happens on ipo
use wireshark to see what happens on the one-x server
use a lot of java ( coffee )

If it ain't dutch it ain't much

So you entered your mobile phone number in the right field in one-x portal?
Did you enter a prefix in that field?
What does monitor show you?

The SIP trunk I was using for these tests is down apparently, I had used my analog trunks but to the same end, does the one-x mobile support analog trunks for the making calls feature? After I get my SIP trunk working again I'll post an update, thank you all for the replies, but:

Bas1234: what two users would these be? And I can't actually find SIP configuration for individual users, only the SIP trunk and the LAN options.

intrigrant: I've got the following ticked for the user that I'm using to test the One-X Mobile:
-Mobilitiy Features
-Mobile Twinning
-Got my Twinned Mobile Phone Number filled out
-One-X Mobile Client
-Mobile Call Control
-Twin when logged out
-Forwarded calls eligible for twinning

What I'm lost on is when you refer to: "- one-x portal xms settings URL" I configured the xmpp in the one-x portal administrator, but this xms settings URL, never touched it, don't even know where it is or what it does.

tlpeter: in the one-x portal config for my user I filled my mobile phone in the Telephony tab, used the pre-fix which i use to dial out and (1) since its a cellphone.

This is an in-production IPO, so my monitor might get a little messy, what filters are pertinent for this? So I don't spam the thread with a giant monitor log. (Switched to my analog trunks for the monitor logging, since as I said, my SIP trunk is down.)

Just use a default monitor trace.
I want to see what digit are being send for the call to the mobile phone.

This is what i see: SIP/2.0 603 Decline

That is not good so it must be something with the number and the sip trunk that is not good.

That trace is actually with the analog trunks, since my SIP trunk is down. And judging by your answer I'm guessing One-X mobile only handles SIP and PRI, like most mobile features, am I right?

It is using line id 0 so i guess your analog trunks are not using line id 0 and your sip trunk is.

Care to elaborate on that? Becuase my SIP line actually has a line number of 17 and my analog trunks are divided in line groups 1 and 2. I'm using different short codes to access the trunks, 9 for analog, 7 for SIP. I adjusted the prefix on my mobile settings to 9, for the analog.

It is following what you describe but the trunks are not seen as available, as can be seen from this part of the trace:

Excellent, got my SIP trunk backup, hooked that badboy up, used my SIP dialing shortcode as my mobile phone number from the one-x mobile client, and everything is working as expected, thank you all for the input.
