Bad subject line, couldn't figure out a better way.

We have an IPO500 in 1 city where most of our office is. We have a small satellite office in another city but would like the calls that directed to that area code go through our IPO500 in our city.

What needs to be done? Can we call our phone provider to terminate those DIDs to our PRI in our city? From there we can configure Incoming Call Routes, huntgroups, etc..

Any thoughts?

Do you have pbx at the other city? If not, ask your telco to do a call forward to your PRI and I believe this will have a cost at your side.

you should be able to port the numbers to the pri,

different carries have different rules especially if the numbers are owned by 2 different carriers

from there you can send them out over the scn, we have a couple sites set up this way

There is currently a Cisco PBX there which will be decommisioned since we will be using the IPO500 for them. So no PBX.

I am not sure if they use the same carrier as us in our city but I can find out.

Then all I would need to do is ask my carrier to port the numbers over to our PRI and from there I can begin to create extensions and huntgroups that will reach them in their city
