I have an IP0500 stack, rev 6.1 (can't remember the exact rev). The main unit is new and has one 8-port digital station card and one 8-port analog station card. Connected are 3 expansion cabinets.
IPO500 - 16 DS
IPO400 - 16 DS
IPO400 - Analog Trunk
About 60% of the time if we power up the entire stack at once, one or both of the two 16 DS modules will go into a flashing green light state and not all of the ports on them will function. The Analog Trunk module comes up 100% of the time. They've all been upgraded to the firmware that came with the newest 6.1 release.
If we power on the two 16DS units first, let them come to a solid green state, then power up the main unit, happy as a clam.
Any thoughts? It's a construction site so I can see them losing power at some point and having to walk them through this special sequence.
