Hi, Hope someone may have seen this before?

IPO406DS - 3.0(580)BRI 4
Phone 30
Phone 30
DT 30
DT 30
VMPro

All units at correct level for 3.0(580). Lines tested and system rebooted, hard and soft.

System been ok for years, as of last Thursday they have been having intermittent noise issues on calls, internally as well as externally. Requested a list of extensions that have had the issue and from that 15(currently provided) all digital bar one across both DT units. (There are only DT handsets and alog phones on site)

Whilst on the phone to customer I experienced the issue, I heard a low crackle in the background which started after about 60 seconds but the customer informed me the crackle was very loud her end and needed to move the hand piece away. Ended up hanging up and calling back and the call was fine.

Going to site Tuesday, any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Or the system is dying or the trunks are going bad.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Indeed, that system is getting old now, probably just dying a slow death. Imagine the state of a PC that age that been running 24 7 for the same period :)

Thanks Guys for the responses, I do suspect the same. Just know customer will want a fix rather than a system upgrade.

Thanks again
