ipo voicemail prefered question

Hi guys, is there a way to completely disable a mailbox on a user?

if voicemail ENABLE is unchecked, we still can copy a voicemail to this extension or record a message from the visual voice and sending this message to the user manually....

the customer see this as a non-sens and me too a little bit on this one...

any idea? Disconnect from ,leave mail action is not working too because its not a "call" coming to the mailbox...

If you have voicemail pro you can disable the mailbox from the client.
 
Dude! i am doing IP office since 2003 (Rls 2.0.67) and its the first customer who ever asking me this and I never tried this option... :)

so it fix 75% of the issue but its already better...

so now even if you try to send a message from the visual voice, it will allow it but wont be copied in the folder and turn on the light.
but, if i transfer the call directly to the voicemail, the caller will it a mailbox saying that you cannot leave a message...

will see what the customer will say on this one

A thought, not sure it would help. If you didn't disable it in VM PRO, but left it unchecked in Manager, what if you created a leave action in VM PRO for the extension and then used a transfer action to go back to the same extension number, or, perhaps the main greeting or reception? I think if you did a direct VM on this, it would follow the leave action and just transfer again.
