We're on IP Office v11.0.4.1.0 and for the last few hours have been unable to route calls to our modules on Voicemail Pro. As a workaround, I have calls going to hunt groups.

So far, I have restarted voicemail pro service, confirmed the voicemail password in VMP>Administration>Preferences>General is correct. I reached out to our vendor who reset all passwords and updated them in VMP, but still not able to get calls to route. I have yet to restart IPO - will be doing so in the next few hours. Vendor states we might have to rebuild from scratch and import backups.

Firewall is disabled, the [windows] server has been restarted, and System Status does show Voicemail Pro as Voicemail Type. Our Additional Voicemail Pro ports (26) are showing up dormant.

Anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried to test the module by creating a short code .
Eg: *91 / voicemail node / module name

At least this proves the ipo can connect to the modules..

Oh….and is the licence still showing as valid.

So, I tried dialing *17 and still kept failing. I had existing voicemail nodes which kept failing as well. Turns out one of sister sites has the additional voicemail licenses and they weren't showing up. Had to make an onsite visit to resolve connectivity after which call flow resumed.

Though I still don't know why even though we had 4 voicemail ports, couldn't connect to VMPro.

You mentioned a change in passwords..... Be sure that the voicemail password in the IPO's security settings matches the VMPro's password. This sounds like a password mismatch to me. If it was changed in one place, but not the other, there is your problem

Sometimes, I feel like a kindergartner missing out on recess, because certain kids won't shut up and get in line.

Rocket is right. I have had systems that looed connected but were not. You may also want to check if it wants a 31 character password. I can't remember when that started but it it needs to be EXACTLY 31 characters or it doesn't work.
