Hi guys, I have an IPO 500v2, where I recreated the SD card using Manager 9.0.11.0/1003. All went successfully and it found my Essential license on my SD card as "Valid" and gives me the Standard Mode interface. But when I try to connect to it in Open Configuration from that same Manager version, it shows as greyed out. It will let me select the unit, and log in to its live configuration. The IP phones attached to it work and can call each other with no licensing messages. Is this in a time-bomb mode where it will stop working in 90 days or something like that? Thanks for any insight from your collective experience.

Thanks. As a follow up, what is the best practice for maintaining files to recreate different versions of the system on SD cards? When I tried to install multiple versions of the Manager and specified a different installation path (e.g. added "8.0", "9.0") for each it seemed to get confused and replaced files such that there was only one version of the Manager installed at a time. The binary files directory appears to have IP500 and phone firmware binaries as well as the EXEs for the Manager application running on Windows.

Remove your current version of Manager through Control Panel
Install the lowest version of Manager you want to have available.
Once the installation is done, rename the Manager folder to ManagerRxx
Install the next highest version, when finished rename Manager to ManagerRxx
Keep doing that until you are on the latest release.
The Monitor and System Status applications get updated each time, so you will ultimately be running the latest release.
You can now create a folder of short cuts to the Manager.exe file in each of the ManagerRxx folders, and launch the one that you need.
Be sure to change the working directory to the correct folder before recreating a SD or upgrading a control unit.

When you recreate an SD card the files are uploaded from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Avaya\IP Office\Manager\MemoryCards.
For some reason changing the binary file path does not effect this as it always looks in C:\Program Files (x86)\Avaya\IP Office\Manager\ for the folder.
We install all the different versions individually in turn and grab a copy of the MemoryCards folder and rename it to something like "MemoryCards_10.1" before installing the next version.
Once you have a collection of the different versions it just a case of renaming the folders to make the version you require the "active" one. For example if you have V11.0 manager installed and a copy of the 10.1 memory cards folder, then rename the existing "MemoryCards" folder to "MemoryCards_11.0" and rename "MemoryCards_10.1" to "MemoryCards". This gives you an active 10.1 memory cards folder.
You can then recreate a V10.1 SD card. Once done put the names back as they were and you are back to 11.0.
