IPO SERVICES STOPPED ON LINUX SERVER 1

I have stopped services of IPO via Web Manager. This a server based IPO on Linux.
Now cant login the Web Manager.
How do I start the services again?

Reboot the server or start the services by CLI.

I had to reboot the server but want to know where rebooting is not an option what will be the Command Line?

normally the command would be of the format:-

/etc/init.d/<service> start

looking at the contents of /etc/init.d should show you what services are available (I don't have a server at hand to check)

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

Login with putty.
Administrator and password for that.
type admin and type the password for that.
type a ? and look for start.
Type start and enter and it will show you the services.
type start all to start them all.

Just log into web control directly 7071) and restart the service.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

just interested pea what did you try before posting , which linux forums did you access what did you look at on knowledge base and what did you search for on avaya suppport, as ...ohhh forget it 5 mins 2 searches is all i will say
