Hi all,

I've read through a lot of documentation on MOH and I can't find exactly what I'm looking for.

I've got a SE and IP500s at six sites. I want all sites to have the same hold music. I've uploaded my MOH file to the SE and when I set a DID to *34, I get the MOH that I expect. However, the sites themselves still have the old hold music. I know I can just upload the new MOH files to all six IPOs, but I was hoping there was a way to make the SE push the MOH file to all the expansions. Is this a pipe dream?

Thanks!

You can stream MOH using LINE:[SCN Line],[MOH Source] in the telephony/tones and Music section

ACSS - SME
APSS - SME
APDS - Unified Communications
ACS - IP Telephony
ACA - IP Telephony

The default system source for each system is local to each system. Your stuck there.

However, for the alternate sources which you can define, you can indicate that the alternate source should be taken from a source on another system. So for example, on each system you can define alternate source 2 as being source 2 on the primary.

Then in your incoming call routes you would need to set the music override for each ICR as being 2 and hey presto, all incoming calls hear the same source.

[Its not prefect, it would be nice on the branch and secondary to be able to configure their source 1 to be primary source but that can't be done as far as I'm aware. I think Avaya want you to always have a local file to fallback to]

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
