IPO SCN Question

I have a customer that linked an IP500 standard edtion to the main site that has an IP406V2 both are running 4.2(17) and no matter what I did I could not get the SCN to come up on the IP trunk between sites, I could ping the sites from each end of the IP trunk but SCN would not come online even though it was enabled on both sides of the IP trunk...

Anyone have this issue before?

Your routers/firewall between sites will be blocking the SCn traffic I imagine, also you should go to the latest 4.2/R5 if possible

you have VCMs on both systems, networking license on the IP500?

IP500 Voice Networking (Base 4 channels)
For IP500 systems this licences enables support for H323 IP trunks between IP Office systems and QSIG or Small Community Networking over those trunks.

The licence is valid isn't it....

Yeah I suppose we should start with the basics, IP500 needs VCM, voice networking and Advanced networking licence the 406 needs the VCM and advanced newtorking licence too

So, to clear up, Yes there are VCMs on both sides of this config, as a matter of fact there are 4 other IP406v2 sites already SCN back to the main site and working.
the IP500 has all liecnses valid including the IP500 Voice Networking.
