IPO R9 - Transfer Complete Notification

Hello everyone,

I've received a request from a customer asking to enable some kind of transfer complete notification. What'll happen is when the receptionist supervised transfers, the caller and the user the call was transferred to will just sit there playing the silent game with each other not knowing they're already connected. I've been up and down Manager looking for a feature that'll do it, but I'm coming back with nothing. Does this feature exist or some kind of workaround exist?

Customer is on 500v2, R9.0.0.829, VMPro R9.0.0.311, 9611G phones

Tell them to switch to using conference instead: 1st call on hold, make second call, when answered and okay to transfer press conference, yell "TALK NOW" (okay, something a bit more professional), and drop self from the conference. Waste of conference resource but that's the price of users who don't realise that the end of the music might mean something (assuming they have music on hold).

Alternatively, record hold music that says "When the music ends, you are connected".

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

I was also thinking conference, but wanted to see if there was anything else aside from that. I just know it's going to open a can of worms. Thanks sizbut.
