I cannot get the voice mail short code for VM Transfer to work as indicated in thread 1638468.

code: #XXX
Feat: voicemail collect
Telephone Number: "#N" or "#"N or #"N"

I have a Essentials IPO.

It is "#"N. I assume you have 3 digit extensions? What happens when you press # and the extension number of a user with voicemail? You should get that users mailbox.

Depending on handset you can just press the messages button and it asks which mailbox you wan to transfer to :)

i had to change the short code to vmail node, then change it back to vm collect.

we have 1416 telephones.

Thanx, got it to work. i was told a periodic bug since 4.x

No need for the shortcode, just press Transfer then the messages button, it's already built in with those handsets and 16xx and 95/96xx :)
