IPO R10.0 SE orange light next to primary server in the web manager and some weirdness

Hi Folks,

I have a customer on a server Edition Release 10. they have a primary and secondary server.

I have just logged into the Web manager of the primary and the solution page, shows an amber/orange light next to the primary server, and a green light next to the server. However, if i use the Avaya manager tool, I can see the primary and login, but then the secondary says it cant log in, and the password is incorrect for this compared to the primary.

Any ideas what is going on??

I'm sure this was ok the other day.

Check the security settings on the secondary server and make sure you have the correct details for the account you are trying to log in with.

Delete and recreate the account if it all appears normal when you first check it.

Thank you so much replying.

Is it better to go onto the security settings for the secondary server via the manager tool or web browse to the Web Manager page and do it? I know it flags up an error normally to say this isn't the primary etc.

Manager Thick Client is the preference.
It's been around longer and has a greater success rate when you are programming something in a bottom of the ninth, 2 outs, bases loaded, you're at bat,'where ya gonna smack it big feller?' kind of situation.
I use it for MACs (moves, additions and changes), but that's it.

So yes, thick client manager is my favourite bat. It's like a cork tipped friend.

Just found out the orange light is because the One-X is stopped on the server.

Security settings changed and sorted.
