IPO not connecting to new R12 application server

Hey all.

Hopefully I'm just having a slight mental malfunction and this is an easy check box I'm missing somewhere.

I upgraded a 500v2 from R9.0 to R12. System had an application server also at R9.0 running on a physical PC. For the upgrade we built a new virtual machine with the R12 app server and are just going to move the modules and greetings over from the old box.

I've got the same 31-char password in both VMpros and the 500v2. No errors about passwords in system status. I have working voicemail (right now) using the old 9.0 box at x.x.x.201. When I pointed the 500v2 to the new server at x.x.x.202 the IP address of the 500v2 (.200) never shows up in the VMpro client and the users never populate. Again, no errors in SSA other than VMpro connection failure and the voicemail shows up as "none"

Any suggestions? This is my first system to run at R12 so I'm not sure if there's something new that I'm unaware of.

Thanks, Qz

Did some more fiddling. I can get the IP address to show in the voicemail but it still doesn't connect. Monitor shows...

I've tried fiddling with everything websocket and TLS related and can't get it to sync.
