Can I always use the last release of IPO Manager for all the previous release of IPOffice, are we should always use the same version of manager/IPO?

This is gonna be a long discussion...

I always use the latest. But some say you should use the same version...

Up to about R8 or 8.1 you were pretty safe using that to manage systems down to 3.2 or so. It started to go wrong at R9 and 9.1 is a disaster waiting to happen.
Don't use 9.1 to manage anything below 9.1 or it will corrupt the config at some point, it's more a question of when not if :)

You can have a single manager installed (I keep newest installed) and any other version just have a copy of the manager folder sitting in a separate folder. Then you can run any version of manager you need without having to constantly install the correct version. I have all R9 and R9.1 and R10 versions and some of the greatest hits from the older versions.

Thanks...I will install the last version of all the release....

FYI : VM Pro client is absolutely not backward compatible so always use the same client version equal to the VM Pro server.
With the R10 manager you can really screw up older versions of IP Office configs....
