IPO IP401DT4 with 2.1(62) s/w - AT-X command problem 1

Hi there,
Can attach to DTE port as per FAQ but although AT command generates an "OK" any other such as AT-X, AT-X2 or AT-X3 generates "ERROR".
I am trying to default the unit.
Any ideas?

While you are hooked up to the unit through your pc or laptop, power down the unit. As soon as you apply power back to the IP Office, start hitting your escape key on your pc/laptop immediately. Once messages stop scrolling you should be able to do your AT commands.

OR - if the unit is up and running :

If you typed "AT" then type "at-debug" you will get a prompt back then type "eraseconfig" and it will reply with a message then type "erasenvconfig" and wait for a reply then type "reboot" and then after the reboot your unit is back to factory defaults.

tried esc key earlier - it just seemed to crash it with error code=21. Tried the at-debug command. worked perfectly! thank intrigrant
