This should be an easy one, but damned if I can remember where to check this:

When trying to transfer a VM to another extension, any extension outside of the local site is "not valid". All internal extensions work fine and you can call extensions at other sites as well. Isn't there a directory feature on each PBX that allows other connected PBXs to see the extensions?

This is all automatic if SCN is configured correctly, especially the VM element :)

SCN Discovery! That's what I was missing! I didn't have the SCN Discovery box checked. Thanks amriddle!

SCN is up and good, can even see the extensions on the PBX through System Status. Could it be some sort of network block?

Can you 'see' the extensions and huntgroup of the 'other' sites in VM pro?

Are you able to setup a menu, that transfers a call to one of these extensions, and is this working (just as a test)..

Are the extensions on the 'other' site able to reach the VM pro (*17)

Did you setup centralized VM pro on the 'other' sites?

All of the extensions can reach VM Pro. I have multiple AAs with a direct extension option that lets callers dial extensions directly and it works every time. Every PBX is pointing back to the VM Pro server for VM and everyone has their VM mailboxes set up.

How are they transferring to the VM of the other user? Shortcodes will not work for remote systems mind, you would need to use the message button set to Visual voice :)

They go to their VM Mailbox, log in, press 6 to transfer the VM, press 2 to transfer to another mailbox, enter the extension transferring to followed by #, then # again when finished.

It works for any extension at the same site, but will not send to an extension at any other site. I have added the IP addresses of the other units to the IP Search Criteria under the Discovery tab in Manager Preferences, but still nothing.

Adding the addresses to Manager wouldn't have any effect on the workings of the system or VM Pro, that's purely for system discovery for programming purposes.

Do all users show in the Users section of VM Pro?

Restarted all PBXs and the VM Pro/IPO server. Still does not work. [mad]
