I have a 9.1.7.163 newly installed. When an outside call on an analog trunk comes in and rings the hunt group and the call is not answered the call forwards to the MainAA, if the caller hangs up at the precise time the call goes from the hunt group to the AA the call does not disconnect and just loops the recording. Have to do a disconnect on system status, unplug the line from system or reset the system or it will stay connected forever!!! worst part is that another call to that same outside line just rings, never gets into the system.
thanks,
Karl

Have you done the impedance matching on the analog trunks? If seen this issue fixed by doing that. Or you could try upgrading to the latest SP of 9.1 and see if that helps.

I bet your service provider does not have disconnect clear (sometimes called positive disconnect) enabled on the analog lines.

I have not done an impedance test... I have duplicated it many times and the kicker is the timing, it only stays hung up at that precise second. What would the impedance test do?
thanks!

Telecomboy- I know, I have been doing this for 30 years, I call Verizon and they say they never heard of it... Disconnect supervision, disconnect clear etc... its a real shame who they have working at Telco's now.

Yeah. You need to find the one tech who knows what he/she is doing. I had a client a while back that it took over 2 months to get it resolved. The provider kept saying it was fixed and we would test it and it wouldn't be fixed. Then they would point to the IPO. Finally was able to escalate it and they figured it out.

I had a a conference call with a customer and provider that the "tech" for the provider could not even figure out how to pull up the order. We had to wait 45 minutes for another tech to come into the conference where the original tech openly admitted she had no idea what she was doing. The new tech told her to go private and I assuming yelled at her... The new tech brought up the order and resolved the issue in 5 minutes. It all depends on the tech you get.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

Definitely true on that... Just an update. I removed the fallback on the incoming route which was setup to go to the MainAA. Lets see what that does.
thanks!
