I have a somewhat challenging config I am trying to simplify. I have a central IPO500v2 running 9.0.1. It has a SIP trunk (Line29) with about 100 URI's. Currently users dial outbound using different shortcodes depending on which number they want the called party to see. Some users might use 8 different outbound numbers depending on who they are calling so I can't base the CID on the SIP tab for the various users; also, many of the users are connected to separate IPO's in other cities/countries over H323 lines (non-SCN) so I don't get the full user information on every outbound call. In PRI I could just set the outbound CID in the ARS using NS1112223333. Is there any way to do that with SIP? Some way I can determine the CID based on the shortcode used instead of the user making the call?

You can send your outbound via the URI that uses */*/* and it should honor the S1112223333 in the ARS form. Use Internal Data references the SIP tab of the user

You can also create additional URIs that specify the outbound CID in the Local URI/Contact/Display Name fields

Currently all my URI's specify the CID in the Local URI field. Contact & Display Name are blank. So you are saying I can put an * in the LocalURI, Contact, Display Name fields and it should honor the S directive in the ARS?

I tested and putting * in just the Local URI field does work. Now I can send NS<number>@"sip.provider.url". Thanks for the help on that one.
