Anyone know why it was put back and if it still has bugs in it?

It is a new one.
It is slightly bigger in size.
I guess they fixed it.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

it was down for a couple of days, and then back up again a week ago or so, still with the June 3 date on it. I heard that the PRI issue that it was pulled for was actually a BEll issue, not an Avaya issue, so it was put back up as is.

it's still there with the June 3 date on it? I don't see anything new about it.

GB

GB, it is a changed version as the size is different.
Why would this be the case when nothing is changed?

I had upgrade 1 IP office and he had some bugs in the config. Later was the relaese gone from the Avaya site. Today he was back, I upgraded our own site tot 8.1 (69) now i found no bugs for now.

I installed it the same night it came out with PRI and so far no issues (with the PRI) just a problem that I thought would go away with the upgrade.
I compared the file I downloaded first and now and they have it seems the same MD5 checksum so tlpeter it seems they are the same, or I messed up when I compared them

Releasing 2 different versions with the same number is daft, defeats the object...

Avaya "what release are you running"
BP "8.1.69"
Avaya "Which one?"
BP "8.1.69...duh"
Avaya "No, we released 2 versions called 8.1.69, which do you have?"
BP "Errrr don't know..."
Avaya "When did you download it?"
BP "I didn't it's on my mates memory stick...hang on"
BP "Dave, when did you download 8.1.69?"
Dave "Why? What difference does it make?"
BP "It's Avaya, the F'ing idiots called 2 version the same name"
Dave "You F'ing joking? Errr I got it off a third party site because Avaya's downloads bomb out or corrupt"
BP "Bollocks"
BP "Avaya, forget it I've lost the will to live"

And that's exactly what will happen :)

I heard that the PRI issue that it was pulled for was actually a BEll issue

Sorry for my ignorance - what does that mean?

Thanks

I heard that Bell used it, and then complained that it broke PRI's somehow. Avaya pulled it, and then apparently found it was someone doing something wrong on the Bell end.

that's what I heard, anyway.

Westi, i checked it and i am pretty sure that was a difference in size.
Perhaps it is such minor that it does not matter for the checksum.

Now that's funny, I just spat my brew on the kitchen table, intentional or not that's the funniest post I've seen in a long time [rofl]

LMAO @ amriddle!!! That's hilarious. There's now way Avaya would be that..... ok, so maybe they would be that stupid. So what's the verdict? Should I download it again to be safe?

if you have the old download then download it again and compare them as I think they are identical but would like confirmation :)
