Have multiple customers with IP Office 500 v2 on 7.0(5) and higher firmware with T7316e Digital phones on the main unit and expansion modules both with PRI-T! and Analog Trunks and no problems reported.
Suggest testing your trunks. Is the problem related to incoming, outgoing or bothway calls? Are multiple phones having problems or one phone with bad handset cord.
Do any of the telephones have a handset untangler installed on them? They are notorious for causing static on calls.
