IPO 500 door relay - how do I control more than 2?

Hello,

My company wants to utilize the door relay feature, however we have more than two doors we would like to control.

Is there a way to do this? Would i need to use Avaya Door Entry Controllers?

Any suggestions??

Get an external unit that works via an analogue extension.

Ulydor units are usually ok.

So could a current user dial a shortcode or extension to activate the relay through analog port this module would be connected to?

I connected a Panasonic 308 to an IPO once to use it as a multi door opener and intercom with 4 relays. Worked like a charm, the Panasonic SLT extension connected to the trunk of the IPO.

That's 1 good use for a 308!
